The invention relates to a system that can reproduce images in three dimensions, i.e. stereoscopic, three-dimensional or integral, without requiring goggles or any other item to be placed in front of the eyes of observers. The number of images required is reduced as the system can direct the images to the eyes of each observer. In the case of stereoscopic reproductions, only two images are required whereas, in the case of three-dimensional or integral reproductions, ten or several tens of images are required. The fundamental characteristics of the inventive system are as follows: the inventive system possesses a large depth of focus in relation to the images which can be used to direct said images to the eyes of the observers regardless of location; the system only uses one single discriminator element for said images per observer; the system can reproduce bidimensional images both by transparency and by diffusion; and said system uses no mobile elements.
|
