摘要 The device has two connector parts, a wire accommodation and guide part with wire guide channels, a cable feed housing and contact elements. Each wire guide channel has a contact ring. Contact element ends facing the cable connector part or first cable connector part are angled to enter contact rings when the connector is assembled. Wires are pressed against contact rings by the angled ends, cutting through the wire insulation to make contact. The device has cable and equipment connector parts (3,4) or two cable connector parts, a wire accommodation and guide part (6) with a number of wire guide channels (5), a sleeve-shaped cable feed housing (7) and several contact elements. Each wire guide channel contains a contact ring and the ends of the contact elements facing the cable connector part or the first cable connector part are angled so as to enter the contact rings when the connector is assembled and the wires are pressed against the contact rings by the angled ends, cutting through the wire insulation and making contact between the conductors and contact elements. NDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: a method of making an electrically conducting connection between a preferably multi-wire cable and an electrical device or between cables.
