<p>Light clay which can be easily shaped into a definite shape, has appropriate light-weight properties and storage properties and can be produced at a low cost. In the above light clay and a process for producing the same, the average particle diameter of organic hollow microspheres is regulated within a range of 15 to 150 mu m, the content of the organic hollow microspheres is regulated within a range of 0.1 to 6% by weight based on the whole clay, and the whiteness (WL) of the clay determined in accordance with JIS L 0803 is controlled to at least 50.</p> |
