METHOD FOR INTERCONNECTING CORE NETWORK NODES AND RADIO ACCESS NETWORK NODES IN A TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK

A method is proposed for handling connections between a core network node (CNN1) and a radio access network node (RANN2) in a telecommunication network, wherein over an interface between the core network (CN) and the radio access network (RAN) a message (M1; M2; M3; M4; M5; M6; M7) is sent, that comprises an identification of the sending node (CNN1; RANN2), the identification of the sending node (CNN1; RANN2) being unique within the telecommmunication network.
