<p>The invention concerns an accelerated solar ageing method, and a device therefor. The method consists in using one or several xenon lamps (3) operating in pulse mode and emitting a continuous high-energy photonic spectrum equivalent to solar radiation, to illuminate the product to be tested through a transparent interface (8) for transmitting a light spectrum comparable to that of the sun in real situation of exposure of the target product, and preserving in particular the infrared part of said spectrum. Generally the invention concerns the industrial and commercial field of manufacturing and diffusion of products likely to be exposed to sunlight, and in particular products such as cosmetics, perfumes, flavours, plastic materials, varnishes and paints, printing inks.</p> |
