The ultra-micro electrode (10) has an electrode fiber (20) embedded centrally in a cylindrical body (12). The body carries three parallel outer electrode fibers (22), insulated against the center fiber. The end surfaces of all the electrode fibers are on one plane (14) or a curved surface (15). The ultra-micro electrode is a probe in a screen electrochemical microscope (SECM). The ultra-micro electrode (10) has an electrode fiber (20) embedded centrally in a cylindrical body (12).
