Data carrier comprising optical data carrier where points (42) are formed with a protective layer (43), is new. The data carrier surface is mirrored, and the protective layer is removed. The chemical/bio-chemical substances are pressed on to the surfaces which are not mirrored. The shaped points project over the data carrier surface (40), or they lie in the surface. The points are arranged in a spiral path on the data carrier.
