METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR QUICK CHANGE DISPLAY GRAPHICS ON A MERCHANDISER

A merchandiser (10) includes a front door or wall portion (14) which forms a barrier between an exterior side and an interior side of the merchandiser (10). The front door or wall portion (14) holds a first display panel (18) i n a relatively fixed manner so that an exterior side of the first display pane l (18) forms at least a portion of the exterior side of the merchandiser (10). An access port (such as a slot) (308) is included in the front door or wall portion (14), and is dimensioned and oriented so as to allow a replaceable graphics display panel (410) to be passed, for example, from the interior si de to the exterior side of the merchandiser (10), so as to be placed in juxtaposition with an interior facing side of the first display panel (18). In a preferred embodiment, the first display panel (18) is affixed to the front door or wall portion (14) in a manner so as to have an exterior facing conve x shape, and said replaceable graphics display panel (410) is placed in juxtaposition with the interior side of the first display panel (18) by passing it through said access port (308) from the interior side of the said merchandiser (10), and pressed against the interior facing side of the first display panel (18) by mechanical urging device (320) which causes a press-fi t of the replaceabledisplay panel (410) against the first display panel (18).< /SDOAB>
