PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve treatability by giving a measuring scale function and a marker function capable of viewing and measuring 'the shape and size of a lesion part' and the state of insertion into a blood vessel securely by a radiation projection video to a medical guide wire to be inserted into the blood vessel for treating the lesion part. SOLUTION: Multiple wires 5A and 5B are provided side by side to make a wire coil body of a single coil body without a joint nearly in a closely coiled form, the full length or a part of at least one of the multiple wires consists of radiation opaque material S, a mixed coil zone 11 where the coil made of a radiation transmitting material P and that made of the material S coexist or a multi-wire coil body 3 obtained by constituting the radiation transmitting coil zone including only the zone of the radiation transmitting material as a measuring scale part and a marker part is fitted to a tip part to obtain the medical guide wire 1. |
