PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inorganic molded product of high mechanical strength with excellent resistance to water, heat and thermal shock and dimensional stability by reinforcing an inorganic material with inorganic fiber. SOLUTION: This inorganic molded product is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. on a solid basis of an inorganic matrix stock comprising 100 pts.wt. on a solid basis of a metal primary phosphate and 80-200 pts.wt. of a curing agent with 5-100 pts.wt. of reinforcing inorganic fiber surface-treated with an epoxy resin-contg. treatment agent followed by molding to a specified shape and then curing under heating; wherein the curing agent is pref. at least one kind selected from compound oxides including metal hydroxides, basic metal oxides and basic metal hydroxides and particles <=5μm in average size account for 30-90 wt.% of the whole curing agent, and the epoxy resin is pref. an aromatic polyglycidyl ether-based one. |
