PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of designing dental prostheses which can shorten the time of designing the prostheses and the adjusting time for bonding them on teeth. SOLUTION: The method of designing dental prostheses comprises, firstly, a step in which a basic dental shape model is built based on basic dental shape data obtained by measuring the shapes of sound teeth, a step in which a retaining tooth shape model is built based on retaining tooth shape data obtained by measuring the shapes of teeth shaped for prosthetic treatment and a step for determining the shape of a prosthesis based on the basic tooth shape model and the retaining tooth shape model. Moreover, the designing system is provided to execute the method. |
