PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating structure for the bottom of an electric pot facilitating the manufacture and installation of a vacuum heat insulating member and enhancing the effect of heat insulation by positioning the vacuum heat insulating member provided with a shape retaining member inside the lower portion of an inner container. SOLUTION: The heat insulating structure is used for the bottom of the electric pot having a water-boiling inner container 3 having a heat insulating structure, a heating means 4 provided on the outer surface of the bottom of the inner container for heating the inner container, and a vacuum heat insulating member 25 provided below the heating means.
