PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the stickiness of rice at the time of warming and to decompose and eliminate an unpleasant odor generated from the rice in a rice cooker. SOLUTION: This rice cooker is provided with a steam discharge means 17 for discharging steam generated from the rice 25 to the outside, a deodorization means 24 for decomposing and eliminating the odor generated from the rice 25 and a blowing means 20 for forcibly discharging the steam generated from the rice 25 to the outside and circulating the odor generated from the rice to the deodorization means 24 in the steam discharge means 17 and the deodorization means 24. By the constitution, excess moisture is discharged by the steam discharge means 17 during warming and the stickiness of the rice is suppressed. Also, the unpleasant odor generated during warming is decomposed and eliminated by the deodorization means 24.
