<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating an oxygen concentration device which can stably produce an oxygen-concentrated gas having an approximately constant oxygen concentration. SOLUTION: In the oxygen concentration device 1, after an adsorption process and a desorption process are repeated, the operation of a first adsorption cylinder 3 is stopped after the completion of the desorption process, and the operation of a second adsorption cylinder 4 is stopped after the completion of the adsorption process. Since at starting, compressed air is supplied to the first adsorption cylinder 3 which completed the desorption process to start the generation of concentrated oxygen gas, the nitrogen adsorption properties during the start-up are improved to stabilize the oxygen concentration of the oxygen- concentrated gas. In addition, since the oxygen concentration device 1 is not stopped immediately after the stop of an ozone generator 23 and operated at least for a given time while repeating the adsorption process and the desorption process, even when the ozone generator 23 repeats an on-off action frequently in a short time, the device 1 does not follow the on-off action of the ozone generator 23 so that the oxygen concentration of the generated oxygen-concentrated gas is prevented from being lowered.</p> |
