TEA-RESIDUE SILAGE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING AND STORING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing and storing a large amount of silage, as livestock forage resources, produced from tea residue which comprises food industrial wastes, and facilitating utilization of the tea residue. SOLUTION: This method for preparing and storing tea-residue silage comprises the following process: stuffing tea residue which is inoculated with lactobacillus and added vegetable fiber splitting enzyme or saccharide into a sealed silage storing container to prepare and store them for a long period of time; wherein the tea residue is such as to be produced by using tea trees, and the tea-residue silage is utilized as a livestock/poultry forage, or as a compounding agent for nutrition supplement/preparation or health promotion function-imparted therein.
