A stair walker device for aiding ambulatory persons in ascending ad descending stairs, ramps and other uneven walkable surfaces. A pair of hand-controlled levers used separately or together to adjust the front legs, by controlling the extension or retraction of a pair of front leg portions. The rear legs are adjusted for the user's height once only by suitable adjustable fastening. The sides of the stair walker frame can be readily folded for storage or for carrying.
