<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cluster rolling mill and a sheet shape control method which can accurately detect the shape of a steel plate by means of a shape detector even when the rolled material is off center and can securely perform shape control of the steel sheet having a complex elongation shape attributable to the off center. SOLUTION: The sheet shape of a rolled material 21 having passed through a cluster rolling mill 11 is detected, and a four-dimensional normalized orthogonal function to show strain distribution in the material 21 is determined. The controlled variables of a leveler and a bender of the cluster mill 11 are determined using the deviation between the target value and the measured value of shape mode coefficients A1 and A3 of the four-dimensional normalized orthogonal function and the correction valuesαandβof the off center amount x of the material 21, thereby controlling the sheet shape of the material 21.</p> |
