PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the discharge of the rice in a rice washing chamber from a rice discharge port without the production of the residual rice. SOLUTION: The bottom end of the rice washing chamber 20 having a downwardly convergent funnel section is provided with a rice discharge port 21 which is provided with a rice discharge valve 22 to close the rice discharge port 21 by ascending and to open the rice discharge port 21 by descending. The rice washer is provided with rice discharge aids 40 for guiding the rice in the rice washing chamber 20 to the rice discharge port 21 by ascending and descending together with the rice discharge valve 22.
