PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a farm product-treating apparatus capable of surely and cleanly separating unnecessary parts without impairing commercial value of a farm product. SOLUTION: Air B discharged from discharge nozzles 10 of both side parts constituting a separating device 8 is blown to both-side peripheral surface of Welsh onion A retained by a holding body 3 of a carrying device 2 to peel a skin Ad and the skin Ad is hung down below the root part Ac. The skin Ad hung down below the root part Ac of the Welsh onion A is clamped by a resistance-providing member 24 provided around the periphery of a pair of removing rolls 23 constituting a removal device 21 and the skin Ad is forcibly pulled in nearly vertical direction by synergistic action between rotation force of the removing roll 23 and the contact resistance of the resistance-providing member 24 to separate the skin Ad.
