PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of conventional adhesive rat trap to lure and catch a rat with a bait placed on an adhesive sheet on the floor comprising decreased adhesive power to the wet or stained foot of the rat to cause the escape of the caught rat to cancel the merits of the trap comprising the reduced cost and easy disposal of the caught rat by luring the rat with a bait and then capturing with an adhesive sheet. SOLUTION: The adhesive rat trap has a nearly box-shape and is provided with an inlet opening, a lower plate inclining like a seesaw by the weight of a rat. A rod hooking a string is disengaged by the inclination to drop a plate coated with an adhesive from the upper part of the trap.
