PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice-filling device which can readily fill rice in a cavity- formed state without deteriorating the texture of rice and can easily fill a constant volume of rice. SOLUTION: This rice-filling device 10 for filling rice 3 in a cup-like vessel 2 so that cavities 7, 8 extended from the surface portion to the deep portion are formed is characterized by comprising a mold 11 which has a peripheral wall 13 and a bottom wall 14 for molding the rice 3 in a shape capable of being put into the vessel 2 and a cavity-forming portion 15 extended from the bottom wall 14 to the opening and used for forming the cavity 7 in the rice 3 filled in the inner space 16, and further by filling the rice 3 in the mold 11, and then transferring the rice 3 in the mold 11 to the vessel 2 in an inverted state to fill the vessel 2 with the rice 3. |
