METHOD FOR SCREENING CELL HAVING PROTEIN PROCESSING ACTIVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method with which a cell having processing activity specific to a protein to be subjected to processing in an organism is screened in a high precision. SOLUTION: This method for cell screening is characterized in that the method screens a cell having processing activity on a target protein comprises the steps of (i) transducing the following two DNAs of (a) a fused DNA obtained by connecting a DNA encoding transmembrane domain of a transmembrane protein to one end of a DNA encoding the target protein and a DNA encoding a transcription activator to the other end of the DNA and (b) a DNA obtained by connecting a DNA encoding a promoter sequence responding to the transcription activator to a DNA encoding a drug-resistant gene in a cell, and (ii) culturing the cell in a medium containing a drug to which the drug-resistant gene exhibits resistance and selecting the cell exhibiting the drug resistance.
