PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding tape feeder for a sewing machine that uniformly sews a tape to a body fabric, shorten working time and reduce burden on a worker. SOLUTION: A guide plate 15 is provided between a tape delivery section 11 and a tape rest 10, and a cutting edge section 12 and a tape folding cylinder 23 are installed in the tape rest 10 so as to simultaneously implement fixed size cutting and double folding of a tape 8. A folding tape 18 pushed down to the lower side of a groove hole 7 by a penetration rod 27 is moved to the sewing machine 1 side by an insertion cylinder 32 and inserted into below a pressing metal 5, after pinched by a tape clamp 30 and the clamp 30 is rotated 90 degrees by a rotating cylinder 31.
