SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for transfer of articles from one conveyor to the other located lower than the first one and square to the first conveyor, these articles being long strips with down-turned ends, for instance spring leaves with down-turned eyes. Said mechanism has feed conveyor and outfeed conveyor with pusher support guides and stops. Conveyors are installed at different levels square to each other. Support guides are installed at angle, and stops are made in form of bellcranks secured on vertical axles and arranged in horizontal plane found between outlet end of support guides and outfeed conveyor. One arm of each bellcrank is installed for interaction with pusher of outfeed conveyor at its working stroke, and second arm is installed for engagement with pusher at its return stroke. Bellcranks are provided with initial and final position stops made in form of spring-loaded pins. Pusher of outfeed conveyor is provided with cam to control said pins. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of mechanism owing to preservation of position of transferred long strips with down-turned ends. 3 cl, 5 dwg
