PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium which makes high-quality recording/reproducing possible for the use of recording and reproducing audio or visual information by optimizing a printing layer of an optical medium. SOLUTION: In the optical recording medium having at least a recording layer, a reflecting layer and a protective layer formed on a transparent substrate having spiral guide grooves, the printing layer directly formed or formed with other layers on the protective layer contains at least titanium dioxide and carbon black. The proportion of the carbon black included in the printing layer is 0.02 to 0.10 wt.% of the titanium dioxide. |
