PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a feed-forward amplifier by which frequency characteristics of distortions will not deteriorate, even when the bandwidth of the frequency of input signals is large. SOLUTION: A power composing device 35 composes the distortion component and the pilot which is outputted from an auxiliary amplifier 13, whose amplitude is adjusted by an attenuator 35, and whose phase is adjusted by a phase converter 36 and the output signal of a distortion-eliminating circuit 2 and outputs a composite signal. A detector 20 detects the power of the composite pilot signal from the composite signal, and a control circuit 21 controls a variable attenuator 14 and a variable phase converter 15, so that the power of the detected composite pilot signal is minimal.
