PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of preventing the collision with a vehicle ahead, regardless of the characteristic of a driver of the vehicle ahead. SOLUTION: This system for preventing the collision with an obstacle by providing the information, grasps a position of an obstacle, and a speed and a position of a vehicle at a road side and a vehicle side by using independent communicating means, operates a speed to stop without being independently collided with each traveling vehicle, and a timing to change a lane to an adjacent lane, and provides the information to a driver, whereby plural vehicles can be cooperatively stopped without collided at this side of the obstacle, or change the lane.
