<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device used for an automatic toll collection system considered to enhance an operability and not to obstruct a front visual field of a driver as much as possible. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle device 17 is provided in an instrument panel 19 and is standably retained at a position projected from the inside of the instrument panel 19 by a guide mechanism 47. Whereas the on-vehicle device 17 can be housed at a retreated position in the instrument panel 19. The on-vehicle device 17 has an antenna 31, at a back surface part 25, capable of receiving an electric wave from a front upper side of the vehicle even at any attitude such as a projected position and a retreated position against the instrument panel 19. When the on-vehicle device 17 is positioned at the projected position against the instrument panel 19, it has an indication part 29 capable of being appeared at a front visual field of the driver, an operation panel and an IC card insertion port 33 at a front part 21.</p> |
