PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipotent that can efficiently record a received file. SOLUTION: The facsimile equipment is provided with a reception file storage means, that stores data received from a plurality of destinations through polling to an image storage memory as each received file and an index-generating means, that extracts prescribed pages from each reception file through polling from a plurality of the destinations to aggregate them into a single page. The index-generating means contains pages, set from each reception file through polling from a plurality of the destinations into one page and records it so as to eliminate waste of paper.
