PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of plotting command to a memory, enabling access to the memory per word unit at a high speed, in painting out a rectangular pattern. SOLUTION: When a plotting area A is painted out with a fixed rectangular pattern B, the rectangular pattern B is not painted out one by one with shifting the pattern by pattern width, single word or plural words are continuously painted out per word boundary pattern unit to dispense with a shift operation and to reduce the number of times memory access. |
