PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document distribution system superior in security. SOLUTION: A transmitter terminal 1 sends an electronic document to a distribution server 4 and requests distribution to a receiver terminal 2 (A1). The distribution server 4 preserves the electronic document whose distribution is requested and transmits a notice mail being an electronic mail informing a receiver of the arrival of the electronic document by including a link to URL of a reception log-in page being a Web page on the distribution server 4 (A2). When the receiver receives the electronic mail, the receiver accesses the reception log-in page on the Web server of the distribution server 4 by using the link included in the electronic mail (B1), the receiver is authenticated as a user by the distribution server and receives the electronic document (B2). |
