PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic system for a television lens, by which even an unsheilled user can easily enhance a fault by displaying how to improve the fault when detecting the fault of the television lens. SOLUTION: In the diagnostic system for television lens, a personal computer 30 is connected to the television lens 10 and the personal computer 30 runs a lens diagnostic software program. Thus, the personal computer 30 sequentially diagnoses a focus lens and a zoom lens or the like and acquires diagnostic data such as a position signal, a current and voltage of a power supply during the diagnosis. The personal computer 30 discriminates whether or not the television lens is normal on the basis of the diagnostic data and troubleshoots the fault location and its cause on the occurrence of the fault and displays how to improve the fault on a monitor 36. |
