PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic card distribution system having a return function using the Internet and the like. SOLUTION: Electronic card information, electronic card identification information, inquiry information and reporter information are associatively stored in a database of a service provider server 20 based on information form a sender. Read request information for reading to an electronic card is imparted to a receiver. Since the read request information is associated with electronic card identification information and receiver information, it can be discriminated that from which receiver the read request information of the electronic card is sent when it is sent from the receiver. Corresponding electronic card information and inquiry information and are made correspond to the receiver information and are sent to the receiver sending the reference request information, thus the receiver can read an inquiry article together with the electronic card.
