The tool consists of two articulated levers (A, B) connected by a pivot (2) and made up of branches (3, 10) with or without handles (3b, 10b) and active portions (4a, 7a) to which a resistant effort is applied when the tool is in use. The first active portion (4a) is in the form of an extension on the first lever (A), while the second (7a) is in the form of a separate lever pivoted to the first lever (A) and having a heel with a freely-rotating roller (8) that interacts with a regulating cam (13) on the tip of the second lever (B). During use the cam surface applies an even pressure through jaws (5) or blades on the tips of the active portions and releases it at the end of their travel.
