PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfied information signal at the time of slow reproducing operation. SOLUTION: The reproducing device is provide with 1st, 2nd heads for SD mode and 2nd, 3rd heads for SDL mode, then the device is constituted so that the output of the 2nd head and the output of the 3rd head are alternately selected at normal reproducing with the SDL mode, and an output of the 1st head and the output of the 2nd head are alternately selected at sloe reproducing with the SDL mode.
