PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor/that can select reproducibility of adjacent color space from an original or the like. SOLUTION: The image processor, conducting desired color conversion in colors designated before and after the conversion, divides a color space represented by an image signal into a plurality of planes which are spread radially about an achromatic color axis, depending on the designated color and width before conversion. By area, the color represented by the image signal is discriminated by each division, and a parameter which has been preset to each division is stored. A division is selected, and using the parameters of the selected division, color correction processing of the area is conducted.
