The container, which can be of a circular, polygonal or any other suitable shape is made of a slightly elastic synthetic material tolerant of high as well as very low temperatures in order to be used for frozen food to be heated in the container. The upper rim (1) of the bowl is flanged facilitating the accommodation of a reinforcing ring (2). The ring can either be completely covered by the flanged area or of the same height as the container, forming an additional outer wall. In another version the reinforcement ring (2) is an integrated part, permanently joined to the rim during the molding process.
