PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to simply confirm to which kind of image attached information the received information corresponds, and whether or not the image attached information is correct as the image to be attached to an image of an object or the like by means of a camera when recording the attached information received from an external device in connection with the image of the object. SOLUTION: A digital camera acquires positional information from a car navigation system (step S16). This positional information is classified into image attached information (GPS information denoting latitude, longitude, and altitude) attached to an image of an object and display information (district name corresponding to the GPS information) in connection with the image attached information. The digital camera stores the acquired positional information to a nonvolatile memory (step S20) and displays the display information (district name) in the position information on a liquid crystal display monitor of the camera (step S22). When photographing is made, the image attached information (GPS information) in the positional information stored in the nonvolatile memory is recorded in connection with the image. |
