PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle controller capable of always obtaining the same accelerating performance regardless of whether or not a generator or an engine stops. SOLUTION: This vehicle controller comprises a required driving power calculating part 1 which calculates required driving power required by a vehicle based on an accelerator operating amount, a margin driving power calculator 2 which calculates margin driving power required for compensating for a response delay of the generator relative to a change in the required driving power, a condenser output power calculator 3 which calculates condenser output power based on the storage condition of a condenser, and a target generated- power calculator 4 which calculates the target generated-power of the generator based on the required driving power, margin driving power, and condenser output power. |
