PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a microphone of a wireless microphone system. SOLUTION: In the microphone system where a receiver demodulates a signal wirelessly transmitted from the microphone transducing a sound pressure change into an electric signal, the microphone is provided with an LC circuit including a capacitor whose capacitance changes with the sound pressure change, and the receiver is provided with a radiation means that generates a radio wave and emits the radio wave toward the microphone and with a demodulation means that discriminates a resonance frequency absorbed by the LC circuit receiving the radio wave passing through the microphone or reflected in the microphone and demodulates the electric signal corresponding to the capacitance change in the capacitor from a change in the discriminated resonance frequency.
