PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an OFDM communication device and an OFDM communication method which are intended to decrease the scale of a circuit for selecting a modulation system or an error-correction coding rate, and are intended to reduce the device and to save power. SOLUTION: A modulation system or an error-correction coding rate is selected for communicating by use of both an RSSI signal as reception level information and delay time information of multipath.
