<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer having a high degree of freedom regarding the mounting position to a board. SOLUTION: The transformer 10 comprises cores 17 and 18, and primary and secondary coils magnetically coupled via the cores 17 and 18. Then, a terminal lead-out opening 11 of the primary coil and a terminal lead-out opening 12 of the secondary coil are at an angle of approximately 90 degrees, thus drastically improving the degree of freedom regarding the mounting position to the board 26. For example, when the transformer 10 is mounted on the corner section of a board 26, the boundary between the mounting region of a circuit element for composing a primary side circuit and that of a circuit element for composing a secondary side circuit can be set relatively freely, thus preventing dead space from being generated at the mounting region of the circuit element for composing the primary side circuit and that of the circuit element for composing the secondary side circuit.</p> |
