<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette tape recorder with high performance whose structure is simple and the number of components of which is small. SOLUTION: A selection arm 60 positioned at an automatic reverse position or an automatic shut-off position beforehand corresponding to the position of a direction slider 19 is provided and the selection arm is turned when an end detection arm 54 for detecting a tape end detects the tape end. The selection arm is turned in opposite directions respectively at the automatic reverse position and at the automatic shut-off position. At the time of being turned in one direction at the automatic reverse position, the selection arm slides the direction slider in one direction and changes a direction. At the time of being turned in the other direction at the automatic shut-off position, the selection arm slides the direction slider in the other direction, changes the direction, also acts on a lock plate 27 and bring a PLAY slider 21 or a REC slider 22 to a released state.</p> |
