<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal treatment structure and a terminal treatment method of a shield cable wherein the efficiency of the terminal treatment of the shield cable having a drain wire is enhanced and wherein downsizing of a connector to house a shield cable terminal part can be obtained. SOLUTION: An inner conductor terminal 20 connected with a signal wire 12 of the shield cable 10 in a conductive state is housed in a dielectric housing 30, and this dielectric housing 30 is mounted on a shell connecting terminal 40. A terminal part of the drain wire 14 of the shield cable 10 is inserted and penetrated into insertion holes 37, 42 respectively installed at the dielectric housing 30 and at the shell connecting terminal 40, and an outer conductor shell 60 to electromagnetically shield a terminal part of the shield cable 10 is inserted and penetrated into the outside of the shell connection terminal 20. The terminal part of the drain wire 14 is pinched and retained by the shell connecting terminal 20 and by the outer conductor shell 60 in a mutually conductive state, or retained via the shell connecting terminal 20 in a conductive state with the outer conductor shell 60.</p> |
