<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a whole system by controlling the start of a system (CPU) in radio communication. SOLUTION: An EC 12 (power source microcomputer) of this information processor is allowed to have a part of functions related with radio communication. In response to a request for the connection of radio communication is issued from external radio equipment 16, when it is possible for the EC 12 to facilitate countermeasures to this, the processing is executed in the EC 12, and only when it is impossible for the EC 12 to facilitate countermeasures to this, a main CPU 11 is started, and the processing is executed according to the kind of the equipment at the origin of the connection request or the processing contents. Thus, it is possible to prevent the main CPU 11 from being started unnecessarity, and to reduce the power consumption of the whole system.</p> |
