PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element, which has large luminosity, demonstrates stabilized performance even if it is used repeatedly, and is easily manufactured. SOLUTION: In an electric field light emitting device, which consists of one or more organic compound layers sandwiched between a pair of electrodes at least one of which are transparent or translucent, at least one layer of this organic compound layer contains one sort of compound shown by a formula (I).
