PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed efficiently a stable power supply voltage to a pulse load circuit while making small the space of a power supply apparatus for pulse loads. SOLUTION: When feeding driving power to a pulse load circuit 11, after a DC/DC converter 12 converts an input DC voltage into the voltage required by the pulse load circuit 11, the output current of the DC/DC converter 12 is accumulated in a capacitor 13 to feed it to the pulse load circuit 11. At the same time, the voltage applied between the DC/DC converter 12 and the capacitor 13 is sensed by a voltage sensing circuit 14 and the current between the DC/DC converter 12 and the capacitor 13 is sensed by a current sensing circuit 15. Then, the respective outputs of the voltage sensing circuit 14 and the current sensing circuit 15 are compared respectively with respective reference signals by a comparison operational amplifying circuit 16 to control the output voltage and the output current of the DC/DC converter 12 based on the comparison results.
