PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controlled video recording/reproducing system comprising a remote controller and a device to be controlled, which can attain control with high reliability at all times in various system configurations aiming at a plurality of the remote controllers and devices to be controlled and to provide a remote controller. SOLUTION: A control section 12 of the remote controller 10 converts input information received from an operation entry section 11 into a control signal and attaches an identification signal generated by an identification signal generating section 13 to the control signal and transmits the resulting control signal to a wireless communication control section 14.
