PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tally of high reliability at a low cost and provide a forming method of the tally and principal confirming equipment using the tally. SOLUTION: A circuit board X is provided with a cryptography forming means 51 for enciphering original codes with an encipherment formula formed by using a chaos operation expression, an original code storing means 52, and an cryptographic code storing means 53. A circuit board X(1) and a second circuit board X(2) are formed by cutting off the circuit board X with a cutting part. Original codes at the time of cutting and a decipherment formula at the time of cutting are stored in the storing means 52. Encipherment codes wherein original codes are enciphered with the encipherment formula at the time of cutting is stored in the cryptographic code storing means 53. The second circuit board X(2) is disposed in a transmitting side tally member, and the first circuit board X(1) is disposed in a receiving side tally member. The receiving side tally member deciphers the received cryptographic codes with the decipherment formula stored in the original code storing means 52, and confirms the principal when the deciphered codes coincide with the original codes.
