PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety by taking a misoperation of an operator into account when improper brake operation and acceleration operation are practiced. SOLUTION: In a traveling range, an acceleration signal is inputted to examine whether an acceleration opening is larger than 0% or not and, if the acceleration opening >0%, it is decided whether a brake switch SW is in an ON state or not. When both an acceleration pedal and a brake pedal are stepped on, an output torque command value is 0 or a creep torque value (S14) and a READY lamp is made to flicker or lit (S15). As long as the brake switch SW is in the ON state or the acceleration opening >0%, the output torque command value is kept to be not larger than the creep torque (S16-S19, and S14). If the brake switch is turned off and the acceleration opening = 0%, a torque limit is released. With such a constitution, even if the brake is released after both the brake and the acceleration are stepped on, a drive torque of a vehicle is limited to be not larger than the creep torque, so that the safeness can be secured.
